The principle of AI coding involves the generation of codebook and codebook definitions by AI, which then utilizes these definitions to code the text. Therefore, before carrying out AI coding operations, it is essential to set up the AI codebook in the [Codebook] section.

Step 1: Click on [AI-generated codebook] in the [Codebook] section to create AI categories, or add category definitions to already created regular categories.

Step 2: After the codebook is created, click on [Automatic coding] on the [Overview] page.

Step 3: After clicking on [Automatic coding], select [AI coding]. AI coding will consume computing resources, and the amount of resources used varies depending on the model.

Note: When the [Manual coding protection mechanism] is activated, machine/AI coding will not process texts that have already been manually coded. If manual coding is applied to texts that have already been performed machine/AI coding, the manual coding results will overwrite the automatic coding results. If the [Manual coding protection mechanism] is disabled, the results of automatic coding will overwrite the manual coding results.

Step 4: After proceeding AI coding, you can view the coding results on the [Coding] page. To modify the coding results, go to the [Quality Monitoring] section.
